The "You Matter" Project    

The "You Matter" Project is a registered non-profit organization, created to meet the physical needs and provide emotional encouragement to Veterens without homes.  We provide compassion without ideological expectation or judgment.

What We Do... 

Sack Lunch Program:

We currently make sack lunches every other Saturday and deliver them to a group of homeless persons living in the Downtown Houston area.  We would like to find families interested in donating materials, preparation and/or delivery of lunches. This organization is not affiliated with any religious group or belief.  We simply have the desire, initially, to provide a meal and encouragement to those who need it. 

There are three goals within this program:

1.  Obviously the first one is providing lunch for as many without homes as we can.
2.  Provide each family with an opportunity to work together for a selfless cause.
3.  Providing our children with the opportunity to cultivate compassion.

Material Assistance Program:

This program provides materials in the form of clothing, groceries, and various other needs to those placed in housing or treatment facilities.
